It’s a long story, could be longer, but believe me worth the read if you’re on the fence on buying from Subaru of Bend My family could not catch a break. After taking several unlucky hits over the last few months; Subaru of Bend stepped up. I had made my first vehicle purchase in over 10 years from another UNNAMED dealership and it was my very first Subaru. I had done my due diligence in researching not only the car on Car Fax and about the car itself but the dealership and any shop it had been to have any services done. The car was perfect and I instantly fell in love with Subarus, or so we thought. After only owning it a few days I discovered a disastrous problem that would require both differentials to be replaced and that should never have left the sales lot. Needless to say, I called the dealership out on it and they bought the car back. I had posted my story on Facebook about the goings on of my first Subaru and my neighbor, mind you I live three hours away from Bend, mentioned that his son, Randon, worked in sales at Subaru of Bend and actually tagged him in my post. I had thought of possibly stopping by already just to chat with someone but now I knew I had to. Well Random was quick on the draw and sent me a friend request and messaged me right away about my plight. We exchanged a few messages and unfortunately he wasn’t in the same day we took the other Subaru back to this OTHER dealership but his buddy Nick was and that I need to ask for him. So after saying goodbye to my very first Subaru, my husband and parents all agreed we should at least stop by Subaru of Bend. We arrived on the lot and it wasn’t too long before a young man approached us and we started telling him about what we had just gone through and that I had spoken with Randon. And he says “Oh yeah! I’m great buds with Randon!” I asked him if he didn’t happen to be Nick and looking a little confused he said that he was. I laughed so hard telling him Randon said I needed to ask for you. After a few more minutes of talking Nick asked us to give him a minute and to see if anything fitting what I had just returned came in while he was off. Didn’t take long for him to come back with a huge smile across his face and amazing news! It was the same year, same color, but with less miles, and the upgraded package. I literally could not believe what I was hearing. I left Subaru of Bend with my second and even more amazing Subaru and feeling even more confident about the legitimacy of this purchase. I was already impressed and knew I would come back for my next one here, my parents even left their info, but this is where they locked it in for me. I had owned the car for less than a week, having only driven it for four days to work before it started making noise and the more I drove it the worse the noise got and the worse it began to handle. Nick assured me that if I had any questions to give him a call and call him I did. And I will say this about the phone call, I never once felt like I was inconveniencing him or that he was irritated to hear from me, he was genuinely eager to help. We came up with a game plan and I immediately brought the car in the following Monday. Well, it was a bad ball joint and both lower joints would need replacing and after seeing the bill I literally broke down in tears and wanted to just throw up. I couldn’t believe it, it couldn’t be happening all over again at another dealership. I had only had the car for less than a week and was assured that it passed all inspections and that anything subpar was never kept. Four days, is all I could say, four days to work is all she’s been driven. It just seemed like one more hit. Paul, my Tech, quietly asked to give him a minute and when he came back he informed me that they were going to cover it. I can not THANK Subaru of Bend for taking care of me and my car and from keeping a small problem from turning into a bigger one. THANK YOU. I am now a forever customer!!
I went in to trade in my previous Subaru that I had been leasing for 3 years. It was a very easy process and everybody in the building was there to make my car buying process as seamless as possible. They were able to get me in a new car in only 3 hours and provided the best service and hospitality the entire time. This is the best dealership in town and the every employee works very hard. I walked away astonished by how easy the process was and an employee said something that really encapsulates how this dealership operates. They explained that buying a car should be an amazing experience, and they for sure delivered.
My boyfriend and I recently had a great experience buying a car through Subaru of Bend. We weren't sure what to expect after having the same used cars for years. Happy to report that the whole process was surprisingly smooth. There were no overly pushy sales tactics, instead an openness to discuss pros & cons of various options. We're thrilled with our new Wilderness Outback!

By far the best experience I have had with a dealership! Been a customer for about 7 years and have leased 3 Foresters. The service department is outstanding under the leadership of Dustin. They were very friendly & knowledgeable. There was no pressure to buy. Jeremy helped me on the phone as I was looking on the internet inventory & Ben was great the day I walked in to see the car I'd virwed on the website. (Jeremy was not in that day.) He took his time & answered all my questions patiently. A very relaxed experience without stress. Am glad their location is only 1.5 miles from my home! This will be good for maintenance & service!
